Your Car Knows You are Drunk

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) recently extended an agreement with automobile manufacturers it hopes will help develop a system to detect and prevent drunk driving. NHTSA renewed this contract for another four year, and it is set to terminate in 2018. The system is called the Driver Alcohol Detection System for Safety (DADSS), and researchers believe it could be available commercially as early as 2018.
