Nail Polish Helps Protect Against Date Rape

Undercover Colors is developing a nail polish that will detect date-rape drugs such as Xanax,
GHB, and Rohypnol, in liquids. The nail polish will change colors when it comes in contact
with a liquid laced with the date-rape drugs.

If a person is wearing the nail polish and thinks someone has slipped something into a drink, then
they can dip their nail into the liquid and if the date-rape drug is present, then the nail polish will
change color. This new technology is significant because date-rape drugs are colorless and
odorless.

Unfortunately, the product is still in the developmental stages. However, Undercover Colors
hopes to raise enough money to place the nail polish on the market soon.
